Words from Lura:
My name is Lura J. Dahlem. I am a Personal and Corporate Stress Elimination Coach, Wellness Practitioner, and Life Change Consultant. They call me your “Stress and Success Angel!” I educate and mentor people who want to live successfully and happily by taking emotional control of their lives.
My mission is to empower those who seek emotional freedom with the personal tools to live more joyful, positive and authentic lives.
My goal is to assist those with whom I work in eliminating the unnecessary pain, addiction, fear, and anger that prevent them from making the conscious decisions which will bring peace into their lives, and the lives of those they love.
I have been a lay minister within my Christian faith since 1984, have taught religious education, led scripture studies, and hold two theology degrees. I have a passion for helping people to heal.
I have worked in the area of healing arts since 1994 after recovering from the trauma of major back surgery. My first career was as a social worker and job coach from 1985 to 1998. I have worked in law enforcement, been a manager in the retail industry, had my own financial services business, taught in the public school system, and have built a career in higher education, teaching at the graduate level.
I have three academic degrees: a BS in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University; a BA in Pastoral Ministry from Kansas Newman College; and an MA in Pastoral Ministry from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, where I concentrated my studies in Grief and Loss. I am also board certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Success Coaching, EFT, TIME Techniques and NLP through IBCP – International Board of Coaches and Practitioners.
I am certified through the Skills for Change Institute, Inc. in the FasterEFT process for personal growth and life coach training, having studied directly under the developer and founder of the FasterEFT process, my childhood friend, R. G. Smith.
I am a member of the National Association for Lay Ministers, and under my graduate degree in Pastoral Ministry, have done pastoral guidance, grief companioning, and spiritual direction for many years. I have also worked under contract as a Rehabilitation Specialist for children and adults through a counseling center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.
I am not a licensed counselor, psychologist, dietician, or medical professional, and have no licensing or formal training in these fields. I practice under my Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry degree, my board certifications through IBCP, and my full certification as a Faster EFT Certified Wellness Practitioner with the Skills to Change Institute.
In all of my dealings, personal and professional, I adhere to IBCP Code of Professional Ethics. I am a life coach, trainer and mentor for any whose desire is to “Create the Life You Want to Live Into!” ™
