It is wonderful to share with you a small portion of the work I do with people just like you all over the world.
I cannot express to you how fulfilling it is to share healing moments with hundreds of people, individuals and groups, each year, and to see what an impact it has on their own lives and their families.
If you have attended a seminar or presentation by Lura Owen of Living ALOT, Inc, this is where you will find the “formula” that I promised you. It is the same process that I use for stress release at any presentation. Remember, I’ve worked with hundreds and hundreds of people on thousands of issues over the last few years, and this is the formula that ALWAYS works:
First, get familiar with The Tapping Points. It only takes a moment!
The Tapping Points:
1) Above the eye — at the point where the inside of the eyebrow grows just above the nose
2) Beside the eye — below the outside edge of the eyebrow, just in front of the temple
3) Under the eye — on the bony ridge under the center of the eye
4) Collarbone — just below the collarbone, on either side of the “notch” above your sternum or breastbone
5) Grab your wrist — hold one wrist like a bracelet, squeezing gently.
Remember, you do not have to tap. You may press, massage, or tap gently. After you have practiced enough to “memorize” the feeling of tapping on the points, you can get the same or better results by “mentally tapping” through the points — simply imagining your fingers tapping the points as you say inside your mind, “Let it go.”
Now, here’s what I promised you —
The Stress & Trauma Release Process for Maximized Healing™:
AIM at HOW YOU KNOW (what you are feeling, seeing, hearing, thinking) and OBSERVE how strong it is (zero not at all, 10 really strong). Make a note of the intensity (e.g. stomach = 8) on a paper beside you as you may forget you even had it afterward when the mind resolves the issue.
Give it your attention. THEN turn your attention to your fingertips on your face as you chant to yourself, “Let it go, let it go, it’s safe to let it go, this stomach ache, I just let it go.”
Take a DEEP breath and grab your wrist, then blow it all away. Really breathe so your body is part of the healing.
Say “PEACE” out loud. GO TO a Peaceful Memory. Stay there a moment. Deep breath. Say “Peace.”
Go back and check it. Aim again, and repeat until it is gone.
It heals in LAYERS. The STRONGER you can intensify the discomfort with your mind as you Aim, the FASTER it goes away.
AND — when you can change the intensity or the location with your thoughts, you are affirming that it is EMOTIONAL and not mechanical/physical.
Don’t forget to AIM before you tap, and to go to a Peaceful Place in your mind (laughter or safe feeling) after a round.
Persistence is the key. As you notice distress or discomfort in your BODY, it is your Mind’s way of waving a White Flag to get your attention so that you can Change your THOUGHTS. What you think, the Body Follows.
If you ignore it, it will evolve into a RED FLAG and you will become highly distressed and go into Dis-Ease or even illness. (This is what we have been taught to do by our societies.) This results in a stressed body, a stressed mind, and a lot of disease, illness, and distressed relationships.
Tapping is not always a quick fix event, although some things do resolve quickly, and many issues we no longer even remember afterward. This is an Enhanced Life Skill™ tool for handling stress. And the more “in the heat of the moment” that you use the process, the more your mind will resolve issues before they start. You are training your mind to heal your body. The natural process of keeping you safe through fear and pain is hard-wired within us for survival. We are using that same process now to be peaceful, happy, safe and calm.
Give your mind a while to adapt to the process. You must practice in order to override all that you have practiced in the past about how to be stressed in your life. It will happen more quickly than you think. They say it takes 21 days to make a habit. Make this your stress relief habit, and join the hundreds of thousands across the world who are finding relief. Persistence is your best friend.
